50 years of Star Trek

Today (September the 8th, 2016) marks the 50th anniversary of Star Trek hitting American television and its journey to becoming a worldwide phenomenon. I’ve been a Trekkie since watching Star Trek II: the Wrath of Khan at the age of 14, and that was 10 years ago during Star Trek’s 40th anniversary. Star Trek has been a big part of my life, and it has served as a source of inspiration in my own personal writing projects. If Gene Roddenberry knew how much of an impact his idea for a sci-fi TV show would make fifty years ago, he might not believe it due to all of the snags and snares the series hit in its early days.

In order to celebrate, I’m making a list to some of the Star Trek related content I’ve produced on this blog over the years. And until I post again, live long and prosper.
