Shrine Hunting: The Kibune Shrine

Once again the shrine hunt called. With Orion like tensity, I traversed to a parking lot next to a tiny, local grocery store called the Waki Store. With my camera and some warm if cloudy weather, it was a decent day for some photos. After a brief walk across the road, I found my target; the Kibune Shrine. I cannot read Japanese yet, and I was fortunate this shrine is on Google Maps and written in plain English. I know little about this shrine other than it has the littlest, cutest stone torii gate I’ve ever seen, some cool and fearsome looking lion-dog statues [they look like dogs mixed with lions], and it’s tucked up in the woods. Enjoy the pictures! I’ll try finding a new shrine and posting things soon.
